Kristen Ayers was raised in Georgetown, Texas.  She attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Rhetoric and a minor in Agricultural Economics.  She moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University School of Law from 2016 to 2018.  She was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.  She graduated from Texas Tech Law in December 2018 in the top 20% of her class and received her law license in May 2019.

She spent one year working as a federal law clerk for the Honorable James Wesley Hendrix of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas prior to coming to Jenkins & Young, P.C.
